Meet Angel

Guest Depth Guide

Hi. I'm Angel, and I hang out in life's depths — those rich, sometimes scary places we're often told to avoid. Through Rooted Mystic, I help people discover that their shadows aren't just okay, they're where the real magic lives.

I create spaces where deep identity work meets practical experimentation, guiding humans to uncover their own magic through archetypal astrology, mortality awareness, and conscious living. Because here's the thing: those shadows you've been taught to fear? They're actually holding your greatest treasures. Let's go find them together.

Meet Akshaya

Guest Movement Guide

Hi, My name is Akshaya. I am a multi-passionate, self-taught yoga, strength, and mobility instructor who believes in nurturing both the body and mind. Through my  yoga channel, Happy Nourishing, I share my  journey of holistic health and wellness, helping others to cultivate strength, flexibility, and mindfulness. With a deep passion for nutrition, fitness, and overall well-being, I bring a unique approach to my teaching—combining my love for movement with practical tips on healthy living.

When I am not guiding students through mindful yoga practices, I am out hiking, running, or weight training—activities that fuel my own passion for staying active and strong.

I am also busy balancing life as a mom to an adventurous 11-year-old and inspiring my students as a math teacher. I am  also the former owner of Trailhead Naturals, a vegan, gluten-free, sugar-free, and soy-free food line that reflects my dedication to nourishing the body with wholesome, plant-based ingredients.

Whether it’s on the yoga mat, in the classroom, or in the kitchen, I am committed to living and sharing a life of vitality, balance, and nourishment—one movement, meal, and moment at a time.

Meet Tara

Guest Creative Guide

Tara Bach is an ethereal abstract artist and creative energy guide from Saugerties, NY.

Tara finds beauty and joy in the freedom of an abstract painting process. She loves to explore the space between the immediate and familiar (e.g., nature) and the distant and mysterious (e.g., representations of the cosmos). Whether it is the calm and peaceful essence of the ever-changing tide, the power of a vigorous storm, or the wonders of distant galaxies, the changing elements resonate with her and remind her of the glorious uncertainties of life.

The result is a body of work that alternates between a celestial, cerebral feel and one that is more grounded. Balancing spontaneity and control, Tara’s art explores the unknown that lies between the abstract and the formal. Color and movement share space on the canvas as she creates luminous, enchanting worlds that transport the viewer to revelatory points of view.

In recent years, Tara’s artwork has embraced a storytelling aspect, incorporating symbolism that points to narratives grounded in the search for light within. She is currently working on projects such as a tarot card deck and incorporating Human Design and astrological themes into her creative expressions.

Beyond the canvas, Tara is also a creative energy guide, offering one-on-one sessions in Human Design analysis. Through this work, she supports individuals in connecting more deeply with their unique energy and purpose, helping them align with their true nature and navigate life's transitions with confidence and clarity.

Tara doesn’t see her art or guidance as delivering any particular message. “I’m not trying to tell people anything,” she says. “I’m just trying to connect with them.” Whether through her paintings or her energy work, Tara seeks to channel her abundance of positive energy into the world, inviting others to uncover the beauty and infinite potential within themselves.

Meet Allie

Guest Creative Guide

Allie is a Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMHC) and Registered Art Therapist (ATR) living and working in Indianapolis, Indiana at her practice Art of the Heart. Allie has a passion for helping others on their journey through life, assisting each person to find their most authentic self and break free from anything holding them back from doing so. In addition to her career as a therapist, Allie finds joy in thrifting, all things cats, crafting, gardening, the outdoors and traveling.

As a counselor and Art Therapist, Allie approaches her work with clients with a combination of talk and creative processes. Unlike other clinical approaches to therapy, using creative expression and Art Therapy interventions, allows one to tap into their unconscious and nonverbal processing for deeper self understanding.

Meet Shay

Guest Creative Guide

Shaylen Broughton is an internationally collected abstract artist based in Denver, CO, with a deep passion for astrology and its connection to creative expression. A graduate of The Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), her artistic journey began long before formal training, influenced by her grandmother, a professional portrait artist.

Shaylen’s work explores the rhythms of nature and the cosmos, incorporating natural water sources into her paintings to infuse them with the energy of life. Her fluid, layered compositions reflect the interconnectedness of all things, blending biomorphic patterns and intuitive movement to create visual meditations. Deeply influenced by astrology, she views her creative process as a conversation with celestial energies, using planetary cycles and lunar phases to guide her work.

For Shaylen, intuition is the bridge between the seen and unseen, a tool that allows her to channel energy into her art with authenticity and flow. She embraces the unpredictable, trusting the movement of paint and water to reveal patterns and meaning beyond conscious control. Her process is an act of surrender, aligning with the forces of nature, the cosmos, and her own inner knowing.

Beyond the canvas, Shaylen shares her knowledge of astrology within the FLOW Collective, helping others align with cosmic rhythms in their lives and creative practices. She believes that understanding the stars allows for deeper self-awareness, personal transformation, and a more intentional, intuitive approach to both art and life.

Meet Natalie

Guest Food Guide

I've always loved cooking. Some would say feeding people is my "love language!" From an early age, I watched my mom create delicious meals that nourished our family and many others! When someone had a baby or moved or started a new job, my mom was there with a hot meal to help them through the transition. It is my joy and honor to continue that legacy, and now serve the allergy-friendly community!

When I was going through several health issues back in 2020, my doctor recommended that I cut gluten from my diet before I developed full-blown celiac disease. As I began healing my gut, I mourned the loss of many of my favorite foods. But alas, I'm about as stubborn as they come, so I set out to recreate many of those dishes, without the inflammatory ingredients. A few years later, a friend of mine was struggling to get dinner on the table each night, so I stepped in to prep her family's meals, and Niche Nourishment was born.

Since January of 2023, I've been preparing meals in a commercial kitchen and delivering those meals monthly to the greater Indianapolis area. Visit us at the Broad Ripple Farmers Market and snag some sweet treats, frozen meals, and/or a hot breakfast!

Meet Tionda

Guest Sound Guide

During the Covid-19 pandemic I realized my fast-paced, high stress lifestyle had left me disconnected from my mental, spiritual, and physical well-being. Journaling had always been a passion, but I began exploring meditation, yoga, and breathwork to support my inner peace.  With guidance from a mentor, I deepened my knowledge of holistic practices, including chakras, sound healing, tuning forks, and sound bowls.  This journey led me to earn certifications from Life Changing Energy and the Institute for Integrative Nutrition,

Today, I guide individuals and groups through mindfulness practices that promote clarity, reduce stress, and restore balance.  Blending meditation, journaling, and breathwork, my approach is designed for busy professionals navigating high stress environments.  With  a background in human resources, I understand workplace pressures and strive to make healing practices accessible for all.  My goal is to create spaces for self-discovery, resilience, and inner harmony.
